Anti-Icing/De-icing

| We utilize the Spratronics "Variable Orifice" nozzle for anti-icing/de-icing. This anti-drip nozzle allows the product to be applied at the programmed rate at speeds from 1-60 mph and rates of 20-60 gallons per lane mile. It is especially effective for intersections and situations where the vehicle speed varies. | |

This is accomplished without changing nozzles. This nozzle actually varies the size of the orifice opening, adjusting to the changes of flow and pressure made by the ground speed coordinated control system. This means you always have the correct amount of product on the ground. The "Variable Orifice" nozzle eliminates the hazards of over application caused by a computer simulated ground speed. |

| Our standard controller used is
the Teejet
854 automatic rate controller. It features control of up to 5
boom sections and 5 preset application rates. It stores 10 memory
items an is also GPS compatible.
The console will automatically maintain the correct rate regardless of your ground speed or active spray width, and the nozzle provides the ability to delivery it your target. |
